Cody von Castell is a gorgeous 12 month old German Shepherd. Cody is such an incredible dog; he lives with an older female German Shepherd and a feisty little Terrier who sets boundaries for him. He is housebroken and such a kind and congenial fellow; his tail wags enthusiastically whenever he is introduced to a new person or another dog. At full maturity we suspect he will top 85 pounds. We understand why such a heartfelt plea came from the Kern County Animal Shelter, where his days were numbered because of a fractured leg. (Most likely he was hit by a car.) Sweet Cody is in a foster home recovering from surgery, but soon we hope this special soul will be ready FOR a forever home!
